How to register?

District School Board of Niagara Students (to Register Through OYAP):
  • Find out more about your training and career options in Apprenticeship Trades;
  • Take a Cooperative Education (Co-op) program;
  • Express interest in doing a Co-op placement in an apprenticeship trade to your Co-op teacher;
  • Speak to your Co-op, Guidance, and/or Technology teachers to get more information
    about OYAP, apprenticeship and apprenticeship trades;
  • Speak to your Co-op placement employer about OYAP and apprenticeship opportunities;
  • Complete the OYAP Participant and Registration Request forms in the DSBN Cooperative Education Student Handbook and submit them to your Co-op teacher;
  • Once your Registration Request is submitted, your Co-op Teacher will provide you with information on next-steps.

  • Visit your Co-op and Guidance Departments to get information brochures on
    experiential learning programs;
  • Gain more experience by participating in different DSBN Technology and Experiential Learning programs and opportunities:
