Take a
Cooperative Education
(Co-op) program;
Express interest in doing a Co-op placement in an apprenticeship trade to your Co-op teacher;
Speak to your Co-op, Guidance, and/or Technology teachers to get more information
about
OYAP
, apprenticeship and apprenticeship trades;
Speak to your Co-op placement employer about OYAP and apprenticeship opportunities;
Complete the OYAP Participant and Registration Request forms in the DSBN Cooperative Education Student Handbook and submit them to your Co-op teacher;
Once your Registration Request is submitted, your Co-op Teacher will provide you with information on next-steps.
